Product Description

Nitrate ion concentration is an important parameter in nearly all agricultural and water quality studies. Nitrates can be introduced by acidic rainfall, fertilizer runoff from fields, and plant or animal decay or waste and are a key parameter for plant growth.

Electrodes are combination-style, non-refillable, and gel-filled and are double junction combination electrodes that do not require an external reference electrode.  

It is important for you to know that Forston Labs ISE membranes, like all other PVC ISE membranes, have a limited life expectancy; however, the replaceable module of Forston Labs ISEs allows you to simply discard the used one, and replace it with a new module. We recommend that you do not purchase replacement modules far in advance of their expected time of use, as their life expectancy is limited as well.

Two calibration standards and a short-term soaking bottle are included.

Range: 0.10 to 14,000 mg/L or ppm (7 X 10-6 M to 1.0 M)

Resolution: (% of reading, low scale reading, high scale reading): 0.7% of reading (0.10 ±0.0007 or 14,000 ±98 mg/L)
